Yes. GoPhish meets the CAPG eligibility requirements for employer-sponsored workforce training delivered by a qualified third-party trainer.

Third-party trainer
WILDCARD is an external training provider, not your internal team.
Structured curriculum
GoPhish has defined learning objectives, a course description, and measurable outcomes.
Alberta employees
CAPG covers training for employees who work in Alberta.
Per-attendee invoicing
We issue an itemized invoice per attendee, which is what CAPG requires for the reimbursement calculation.

GoPhish is $175 per person. CAPG reimburses 50% after your session. Here's what that means in practice.

5 people $875 billed ~$437 your cost
10 people $1,750 billed ~$875 your cost
15 people $2,625 billed ~$1,312 your cost
20 people $3,500 billed ~$1,750 your cost

Reimbursement is approximate. Final amount depends on CAPG adjudication and per-employee grant history.

You submit the application. We provide everything you need to file. The critical constraint: you must apply at least 30 days before your session date.

1
Book your session first
Lock in a date with us through the booking link. You need a confirmed session date to complete the CAPG application.
2
Set up your Alberta.ca account
Create an Alberta.ca Account for Organizations if you don't have one. Allow 3–5 business days for approval — don't leave this to the last minute.
3
We send you the filing package
After booking, we provide your course description, learning objectives, trainer credentials, and a pro-forma invoice. Everything CAPG needs from the training provider side.
4
Submit your application
File on the Alberta.ca portal at least 30 days before your session. You'll need your business registration number, WCB account number, and employee names for each trainee.
5
Run the session, then claim
After your GoPhish session, submit your final invoice and attendance confirmation. CAPG processes reimbursement after training completion.

What if I miss the 30-day deadline?
You can still run the session — you just can't claim CAPG for it. There is no retroactive filing. If you're cutting it close, email us at play@gophishing.ca and we'll help you figure out your timeline.
Does every employee need their own application?
No. You file one application per training event and list all attendees. The grant is calculated per employee but filed as a single request per session.
Is there a minimum or maximum number of employees?
CAPG has no minimum headcount. The $5,000 per-employee cap is an annual limit — most teams won't come close to hitting it on a single session.
When does the money come back?
Reimbursement is processed after the training is complete and you submit your final claim with the invoice and attendance records. Timing varies by adjudication, but typically within a few weeks of your final submission.
Do I pay GoPhish upfront and get reimbursed later?
Yes. You pay the full invoice after the session and CAPG reimburses you 50% of eligible costs. We issue the invoice in the format CAPG requires.
Our employees are part-time. Do they qualify?
Generally yes, as long as they are employed in Alberta. CAPG covers part-time, full-time, and seasonal employees. Check the current Alberta.ca program guidelines for any restrictions that may apply to your specific situation.
What if the grant is rejected?
GoPhish runs regardless. The grant is separate from your session booking. If your application is rejected, you pay the full invoice. We can't guarantee adjudication outcomes, but we've built the course to meet CAPG requirements.

The sooner you book, the sooner you can file.

Lock in a session date and we'll send you the complete CAPG filing package the same day.
