In-Person Logistics

The facilitator arrives with everything. You provide the room, the buy-in, and the team.

What We Bring

  • Printed opening trivia deck (warm-up cards)
  • Illustrative slide deck for the 13 scenarios (facilitator-led, same lean format as virtual)
  • Prop kit — physical items that accompany specific scenarios in the session
  • Action sheets for each attendee
  • Completion certificate documentation (emailed within 3 business days)

What You Provide

  • A table or semicircle of chairs that fits the full group
  • Projector or screen (optional — cards are self-contained)
  • 5 minutes of intro time from the manager or owner: "This is important, we want you here"
  • Snacks or lunch if the session runs at noon

Do not print anything or prepare materials. The facilitator handles setup.

Day-Of Timeline

  • T−30 min: Facilitator arrives, sets up the room, cards dealt face-down
  • T−5 min: Employees arrive and start the warm-up card challenge
  • T+5 min: Facilitator calls the room to order — brief intro
  • T+10 to T+65 min: Thirteen cards, one at a time
  • T+65 to T+75 min: Debrief — three questions, action sheets distributed
  • T+75 min: Session ends, facilitator packs up

Group Size

GoPhish is built for 8–20 people — small enough that everyone stays engaged, large enough for real group dynamic. Smaller groups still work fine. Beyond 20, per-person engagement drops off. Have a larger team? Email play@gophishing.ca — we can run two back-to-back sessions.

Day-Of Contact

Your facilitator's direct contact is in the booking confirmation. If anything changes on the day — room moved, timing shifted — text or call directly. Don't use email on the day of a session.

Common Questions

What is CAPG?

The Canada-Alberta Productivity Grant reimburses Alberta employers 50% of eligible GoPhish costs (up to $5,000/trainee/year), or 75% (up to $10,000) for a qualifying new hire — capped at $100,000 per employer per year. CAPG recommends applying 30+ days before your session as a buffer; the hard rule is training can't start before your application status shows "Application Received." Afterward, submit your Training Completion form within 30 days or risk losing the reimbursement — CAPG doesn't publish a fixed payout turnaround.

What happens during a GoPhish session?

A 75-minute facilitator-led run through 13 real attack scenarios, plus a warm-up trivia game and a debrief with action sheets.
